Workshops & classes

Come get your hands dirty.

Classes run small — eight seats, one teacher, all materials and firing included. Wear clothes that can take a little slip.

  • A teacher's and a student's hands centering clay together on the wheel

    Four Tuesdays · 6:30 – 9 pm

    Intro to the Wheel

Centering, pulling walls, and trimming your first cylinder, bowl, and mug. Your best four pieces get glazed and fired — most people leave with a mug they actually use.

    $240

  • Hands rolling out a slab of clay with a wooden pin at the workshop table

    Saturday + Sunday · 10 am – 1 pm

    Hand-building Weekend

Pinch pots, coils, and slab boxes — no wheel, no experience, just hands. Good with a friend; better with a rival.

    $150

  • A brush laying glaze onto a hand-built clay bowl

    One Sunday · 2 – 6 pm

    Glaze & Surface

For potters with bisque-ware ready to finish: layering, wax resist, and how our five house glazes behave over texture. Bring up to six pieces; we fire them that week.

    $95

  • Freshly thrown pots resting on a member's kiln shelf

    Any open hours · monthly

    Open Studio Membership

A shelf of your own, 24 kg of clay included, and the kilns fire twice a month. For potters past the beginner hump who need room to work.

    $85/mo

Every class includes clay, tools, glazes, and firing. Courses are capped at eight; memberships at twenty.

Before you book

The questions everyone asks.

Ask us something else

Do I need experience?

None. Intro to the Wheel and the Hand-building Weekend both start from zero — the first hour is just getting comfortable with the clay. Glaze & Surface is the one class that assumes you have bisque-ware ready.

What should I wear?

Things that can get muddy, shoes with closed toes, and short nails help more than you'd think. Aprons and towels are ours.

When do I get my pieces?

Glaze firings run every other week, so finished work is ready two to three weeks after your last session. We hold pieces for a month and send one reminder before they join the seconds shelf.

Can I gift a class?

Yes — write to us through the visit page and we'll send a hand-lettered voucher within a couple of days.
